Peter Longbottom, 30, of Britain, the oldest rider in the Milk Race, won the first stage of the 13-day bicycle race around England and Wales by edging Czeslaw Rajch of Poland in a final sprint.
Longbottom, Rajch and a large pack of other racers all finished the 121.5-mile stage from London to Bournemouth, England, in 4 hours 41 minutes 22 seconds.
