Forget the opinions of Jim Murray, Al Campanis, Jimmy the Greek and Harry Edwards regarding the superiority of black athletes.
The real reason that whites are inferior athletes is sitcom television and its portrayal of the white kid role model.
Consider the likes of Dennis the Menace, Arthur Fonzarelli, Chip Douglas, Greg Brady and David and Rick Nelson.
Even Jennifer is a better athlete than Alex P. Keaton.
The closest we had to an athlete was Fred Flintstone, who bowled. But bowling doesn’t count.
So it wasn’t the slave traders after all, it was the Screen Writers Guild.
