Favored Presidential came from seventh place on the far turn to beat 30-1 shot Mr. O.P. by a half length Thursday in Hollywood Park’s $28,000 turf feature for 3-year-olds.

The Kentucky-bred Presidential, trained by Charlie Whittingham and ridden by Corey Black, covered the 1 1/16 miles in 1:42 3/5 for his second victory in four starts.

Presidential paid $5.60, $3.80 and $2.60. Mr. O.P., ridden by Alex Solis, returned $20.40 and $9.20. Tokatee, ridden by Chris McCarron, returned $3.60.
