Ten people were left homeless this morning in Sylmar after a fire caused $250,000 damage to a condominium complex, the Los Angeles City Fire Department said.
The cause of the 6:10 a.m. fire was being investigated, Fire Department spokesman Jim Wells said.
One of the building’s condominiums was gutted and another was damaged slightly, Wells said.
It took seven fire companies about 15 minutes to extinguish the blaze in the two-story building.
