Arcadia Bounces Thousand Oaks From Playoffs
Arcadia High collected 15 hits off six pitchers in a 12-2 victory over Thousand Oaks in a Southern Section 5-A Division first-round playoff baseball game Thursday at Arcadia.
Thousand Oaks ace John Bushart left in the third inning, after which Arcadia (22-4) had built a commanding 8-0 lead.
“It was just one of those days you can’t do anything about,” said Thousand Oaks Coach Jim Hansen, whose team finished 14-10. “When we hit the ball hard it was right at somebody.”
