Outfielder Rick Leach returned to the Texas Rangers and had no comment on his disappearance last week and subsequent trip to the commissioner’s office.
The commissioner’s office announced Friday that Leach underwent a medical evaluation in New York and will begin a drug counseling and testing program. After Leach disappeared in New York, a small amount of marijuana was found by police in his hotel room.
