Adding Insult to Injury

The contrast between two men who made it to the top of Capitol Hill seems a terrible travesty of justice. Col. Oliver North, highly decorated officer, shed his blood in Vietnam in service to his country and served his Commander-in-Chief loyally.
For his trouble, North has become a convicted felon, facing an uncertain future for himself and family.
On the other hand, we have one John Paul Mack, convicted of shedding the blood of an innocent young woman whom he brutally beat, stabbed and left for dead while he went to a movie.
Now Mack has risen to be the most powerful staff member on Capitol Hill, executive director of the congressional Democratic Steering and Policy Committee and Wright’s right-hand man.
