THE NORTH VERDICT : North to Forfeit Military Pay, Title

WASHINGTON — Oliver L. North’s conviction on the charge of concealing and destroying White House records and documents means he will lose his monthly military retirement pay of about $1,900, the Marine Corps said Thursday.
In fact, the jury’s guilty verdict on that charge means that North may no longer identify himself as retired Lt. Col. Oliver North.
