Modjeska Canyon : Suspect Held in Slaying of Man Found in Road

A suspect has been arrested in the murder of an Anaheim man whose body was found last week near the entrance of Modjeska Canyon, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said Sunday.
Lt. Harold Schaffroth said Mark Edward Ross, 26, of Anaheim was arrested Saturday afternoon.
He said Ross is being held at Orange County jail on suspicion of the murder of Thomas Kuehn, 22, of Anaheim.
Kuehn’s fully clothed body was found by a passer-by about 4 p.m. Wednesday near Modjeska Canyon Road and Santiago Canyon Road, Schaffroth said.
An autopsy determined that Kuehn had died of multiple gunshot wounds, he said.
Schaffroth said no details of Ross’ arrest, including a possible motive for the murder, were available Sunday.
