Council Elects Gralow Mayor
Ruth Gralow has been elected mayor of Palos Verdes Estates by her City Council colleagues, succeeding James Kinney. Councilman James R. Nyman will serve as mayor pro tem.
Gralow has been on the Palos Verdes Estates council since 1984 and has been mayor once before. Nyman has been a member of the council for one year.
In an address to the audience following her election, Gralow said she looks forward to hosting the city’s 50th birthday celebration in December and to the reconstruction of the problem intersection where Palos Verdes Drives West and North meet.
