At least nine former “Another World” actors have been confirmed to appear on a series of May Sweeps shows for the 25th anniversary of the NYC-based NBC soap--three of whom previously “died” on the NBC show. Their characters will be seen in dream sequences woven into the current story line.

Returnees include the soap world’s first supercouple, George Reinhold (who played Steven Frame) and Jacqui Courtney (his wife, Alice). Others returning include Christine Jones, Dorothy Lyman, Julie Osborne, Jane Cameron, Jim Poyner, Nick Coster and Beverly Penberthy, who’s currently a regular on CBS’ “As the World Turns.”

Although the show’s actual anniversary is May 4, “reunion” scenes will not air until May 22.
