Your article “Empire of the Old” was extremely disturbing to this organization, wherein gerontologist Ken Dychtwald says: “AARP’s leaders are not a bunch of duffers sitting around the Moose Hall.” The Loyal Order of Moose has been a leader in caring for the elderly for more than 75 years. It has raised thousands of children at Mooseheart, located in Illinois. We feel that this brash statement is out of line.
