Mitchell Rosenthal’s column (Op-Ed Page, March 21) about Lake View Terrace presented a distorted picture of our community. Never have so few done so much for so many. In our back yard we have: Lopez Canyon landfill, a halfway house for young people, and an asylum for the criminally insane. To this Rosenthal wants to inflict on our community 210 recovering drug addicts. Our back yard is full. We have done our part. Place this drug center in another area of Los Angeles that has an empty back yard. Bel-Air perhaps?
