Berwyn (Berk) Fragner; Aerospace Executive
Berwyn (Berk) Fragner, 61, an aerospace executive and longtime spokesman for human resources management. A retired vice president of strategic development for TRW’s space and defense program in Redondo Beach, Fragner was founding chairman of both the Los Angeles city and county Private Industry Councils, which linked job training with economic growth. While council chairman, Fragner established the Los Angeles Economic Roundtable, a group of economists who studied the local scene for potential employment opportunities. Fragner also was a retired major general in the Army Reserve. In Granada Hills on Saturday of cancer.
