Anaheim : Body of Man, 18, Found in Street; Clues Sought

Police are investigating the death of a young Anaheim man whose body was found in a city street, the victim of either a homicide or a hit-run incident, they said.
The body of Marco Antonio Murrieta, 18, of Anaheim was found Tuesday night about 10:35 in the 1000 block of East Balsam Avenue. Police said he apparently died of severe head injuries.
“The exact cause of death has yet to be determined,” Police Sgt. James George said.
George said Murrieta was pronounced dead on the scene, but he declined to give further details.
