Bush’s Unveils Budget Plan
In listening to President Bush’s address to Congress as he called attention to programs that he said called for vigorous action--cleaning up the environment, more funds for education, fighting drugs, easing the plight of the homeless, child care--these are some of the very same programs for which Ronald Reagan didn’t show too much enthusiasm or the inclination to do much about them.
Could it be that the President didn’t realize that he was putting the knock on Ronnie?
