2 Bodies Discovered

National City police discovered two badly decomposed bodies, believed to be an adult and an infant, in an apartment Friday, authorities said.
Police received an anonymous call from a man at 1:05 p.m., leading officers to the apartment in the 1200 block of E Avenue, Sgt. Frank Chenell said.
Chenell said the heat in the apartment had been turned on high and all its windows had been shut. A coroner’s investigator was still at the scene late Friday night.
