An eclectic mix of gospel, opera, ecology and TV evangelism highlight this weekend’s small-screen menu.

Today at 5:30 p.m., Channel 2 remembers “Wings Over Jordan,” a black spiritual chorus that significantly affected race relations in the South during the 1930s and ‘40s. This look back at the group’s history and successes is hosted by KCBS weatherman Steve Rambo.

Channel 28 shifts musical gears Sunday at 1 p.m. as Leo Nucci and Kathleen Battle star in the Metropolitan Opera’s production of “The Barber of Seville.”

Glory!”; ABC’s murder mystery “Passion and Paradise” (Channels 7, 3, 10 and 42), and PBS’ “Christabel,” a drama about an Englishwoman living in Germany during World War II (Channels 28 and 15).
