Reagan Regalia, Auto Parts to Replace Noodles
President Reagan’s memos and mementos will be parked beside Rolls-Royce and Honda parts in a one-time noodle factory at 8985 Venice Blvd.
The building, formerly the Globe A-1 pasta plant, recently purchased by Venice Associates, has been leased to the U.S. General Services Administration, imported car firms and other tenants.
The federal agency has leased 22,800 square feet in the 100,000-square-foot building to store part of the presidential collection until the Reagan Library, now being built in Simi Valley, is ready.
The $11-million sale and leasing transactions are being handled by Altemus, Warner & Co., Los Angeles.
