Scouts Selling Land Holdings
Orange County Boy Scouts are now learning a new skill--selling real estate.
The properties, all of which were donated, include the 455-acre Camp Ahwahnee in the San Bernardino Mountains near Running Springs. Ahwahnee is no longer needed because of the use of the Lost Valley camp near Warner Springs in Riverside County.
Other properties for sale include 2.5 acres overlooking Iron Gate Lake in Siskiyou County, residential lots in California Pines in Modoc County and in California City in Kern County and four residential lots in Portola in Plumas County.
