Estancia 68, Corona del Mar 52--After leading at halftime, 28-26, Estancia went on an 18-11 run in the third quarter at Corona del Mar. Mike Curtis scored 21 points for Estancia, while Brian Spratt led Corona del Mar (14-9, 4-5) with 18. Estancia is 5-4 in league play.
University 53, Newport Harbor 44--Erik Glassen scored 17 points and Pat Ferrell 11 for University (10-14, 4-5). Newport Harbor is 2-7 in league play.
In the Olympic League:
Orange Lutheran 75, Capistrano Valley Christian 55--Jason Neben scored a game-high 27 points to lead host Orange Lutheran (20-3, 13-0). Orange Lutheran has won 13 games in a row, the second longest streak in Orange County to Saddleback’s 18-game streak.
Whittier Christian 65, Brethren 35--Scott Ferguson scored 19 points and Paul McKinley 14 for visiting Whittier Christian (17-6, 10-3). Rob Diaz added nine rebounds for Whittier Christian.
Santa Margarita 74, Whitney 59--Dan Bathey scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Santa Margarita (8-14, 3-10).
In the Academy League:
Newport Christian 77, Heritage 68--Jon Bahnsen scored 20 points and Wayne Everett had 19 for visiting Newport Christian.
