Local News in Brief : Countywide : First Aid, CPR Classes in Spanish Scheduled

The American Red Cross is offering Spanish-language classes in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Spanish CPR will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Red Cross Blood Center, 600 N. Park Center Drive in Santa Ana. Students will use workbooks and a mannequin to learn when and how to apply artificial respiration. The fee is $18.
Spanish Multimedia Standard First Aid will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 12 at the same location. The course meets all federal and state occupational health and safety requirements. The fee is $22.
Students for both classes must be at least 13 or have completed the seventh grade.
