Sunday night’s opening episode of “Lonesome Dove,” the four-night CBS miniseries about a cattle drive, rounded up the highest number of prime-time viewers in last week’s ratings, according to A.C. Nielsen figures. Based on Larry McMurtry’s novel, Part 1 of the Western starring Robert Duvall reached about 25.7 million homes and easily roped its competition, NBC’s “Full Exposure: The Sex Tapes Scandal” (tied for 25th place) and ABC’s telecast of “Ruthless People” (41st). The full list of ratings is on Page 9.
* “UNSUB” was unspectacular in its debut. NBC’s new Friday series about an elite team of government agents ranked 45th and was third in its 10 p.m. time slot behind ABC’s “20/20” (24th) and CBS’ “Falcon Crest” (40th).
