The Los Angeles Philharmonic concert featuring cellist Yo-Yo Ma and pianist Emanuel Ax scheduled for tonight at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion has been canceled and rescheduled for Feb. 1, a spokeswoman for the orchestra said.
Ma left Los Angeles on Sunday for Taiwan to be with his father, who suffered a stroke, the spokeswoman said.
Tickets for the canceled performance will be honored on Feb. 1.
The listing on Page 2 of this morning’s Calendar section was printed before the cancellation was announced.
