Apartment for Seniors Opens in Hawthorne
A 75-unit apartment building, the first of five being developed for low-income senior citizens by The East Los Angeles Community Union (TELACU), has opened at 13000 Doty Ave., in Hawthorne.
Other apartments will be constructed in City of Commerce, East Los Angeles, Baldwin Park and in the Pico-Union area in Los Angeles.
