Bush’s Namesake Sticks to Chores at Service Station

COLUMBIA, S.C. — George Bush spent most of Friday pumping gas and fixing cars.
The 41-year-old mechanic who shares the new President’s name said Inauguration Day wasn’t much different from any other day at his service station, Bush’s Phillips 66 near the South Carolina state Capitol.
“I spent the morning changing the valves and gaskets on an Oldsmobile,” Bush said, adding that he doesn’t feel any different now that his namesake resides in the White House.
