MULTI-FAMILY HOUSING SAGS

The number of building permits for multi-family housing issued during the first 11 months of 1988 sagged 26% contrasted with the same period of 1987. Although most of the drop took place in the county’s unincorporated areas, Santa Ana, Laguna Beach and Irvine also recorded large decreases. Here’s how the various cities compare, with the list rendered from largest decreases to largest increases:
