There are specials honoring Elizabeth Taylor and rock musicians in ABC’s future. John Hamlin, vice president of special programs for the network, on Monday told TV reporters here for the annual winter press tour that Michael Jackson and Bob Hope will be part of a tribute to Taylor airing on Feb. 23, and that a new industry awards show, “The First Annual Rock Music Awards,” is planned for late May.
