40 Injured as School Bus, Truck Collide in Kentucky

LONDON, Ky. — A dump truck carrying a load of coal slammed into the side of a school bus filled with students Thursday, injuring more than 40 children and both drivers, authorities said. At least seven people were hospitalized, with two 13-year-old pupils being listed in critical condition. Rescue units used metal-cutting tools to free some of the injured.
