CML Group Will Sell SyberVision Subsidiary
ACTON, Mass. — CML Group Inc., a speciality marketing company, said it intends to sell its SyberVision unit, based in Pleasanton, Calif.
Charles M. Leighton, chairman of CML, said SyberVision is profitable and growing rapidly but “does not fit well with the core CML business.”
CML divisions include boat-maker Boston Whaler Inc., two clothing companies, an exercise equipment company and the Nature Co., of Berkeley.
SyberVision, which makes audio and video self-improvement tapes, had $42.5 million in sales in the year that ended July 31, the company said.
