Hollywood : Traffic Meeting Tonight
Redevelopment officials will hold a public meeting tonight to discuss a proposed transportation plan intended to address traffic problems in the Hollywood redevelopment area over the next 20 years.
Officials from the Community Redevelopment Agency and the Hollywood Project Area Committee, a citizens advisory group, will take comments from the public about the proposed plan, which calls for street widenings, permit-parking districts, new traffic signals and other transportation improvements in the 1,100-acre redevelopment area.
The proposed plan, if adopted by CRA commissioners and the Los Angeles City Council, would determine what traffic improvements developers need to make in order to build in the redevelopment area.
The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Hollywood Women’s Club, 1749 N. La Brea Ave.
