SAN DIEGO — Andy Trakas, the The Times’ All-County football kicker from Patrick Henry High, has made a verbal commitment to attend San Diego State in the fall, Patrick Henry Coach Chris Miller said Saturday.
Trakas, who was recruited by SDSU and Cal State Fullerton, demonstrated excellent range in his place-kicks and kickoffs last season. His longest field goal was 47 yards against Chula Vista. His kickoff average was 56.4 yards.
