A Mountain View couple whose teen-age daughter turned them in as alleged cocaine users pleaded not guilty in Palo Alto Municipal Court and were free on $25,000 bail. Victor P. Hupman, 36, and his wife, Patricia, 34, were arrested Dec. 9 after 17-year-old Stephanie told a Los Altos High School counselor that they shared the drug with her at home and taught her how to cook cocaine into highly addictive “crack.” Hupman is a Stanford University printer and his wife is a patient relations specialist for the university.
