More than 300 county youngsters, ages 9 to 11, are expected to audition in Irvine on Monday for the chance to be an announcer on a planned weekly TV sports show for kids. Irvine-based American Kids Sports Assn., an organization that promotes sports as a means of educating youth, plans to produce 26 half-hour episodes of “Sports Kids,” which will feature positive sports achievements by youngsters all over the world.
