Boy, 11, Faces Charges in Pit Bull Attack on Pupils

PHILADELPHIA — An 11-year-old boy surrendered to police Wednesday in connection with a pit bull attack on about 100 children during school recess.
The boy, who lives about three blocks from St. Edwards Parochial School, faces charges of aggravated assault in the Dec. 15 attack, police said. They said also that they expect to charge another 11-year-old boy not yet arrested.
