A 23-year-old crewman from the aircraft carrier Ranger was killed early Sunday when his car overturned on Interstate 8, authorities said.
The identity of the 23-year-old victim was not available.
The accident occurred at 8:40 a.m, just east of the Interstate 805 interchange. The victim was thrown from his car and died at the scene, authorities said. The California Highway Patrol is investigating.
