Locusts Attack Jordan

AMMAN, Jordan — Locusts have invaded southern Jordan, and the government said Thursday that it is taking steps to combat them, including using pesticides. An Agriculture Ministry official said one swarm covered four square miles along the border with Saudi Arabia.
