* Biomagnetic Technologies reported that it had completed a private stock offering that generated $5.9 million in new capital. The offering involved 20 past investors, including Humana Inc., 3i Investors, Japan Associated Finance and Rothschild Ventures.
BTI will use the capital to advance its superconductor quantum interference technology, which hospitals use for medical diagnosis.
