Thousand Oaks 85, Miraleste 21--Senior forwards Shani Smyth (26 points) and Sue Kama (20 points) led Thousand Oaks in the rout in the first round of the Burroughs tournament.
Bell-Jeff 53, La Canada 29--Andja Vucurevic had a game-high 22 points for Bell-Jeff (6-1) in the first round of the Burroughs tournament.
Simi Valley 68, El Camino Real 59--Shannon Solway had 15 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists as Simi Valley cruised in the nonleague game at El Camino Real.
Josie Kosanke added 18 points and 10 rebounds and Tammy Pacheco had 13 points and 7 rebounds for Simi Valley (3-2).
Lisa Huffaker scored a game-high 20 points for El Camino Real, but the Conquistadores couldn’t combat Simi Valley’s balanced scoring.
Cathy Balint added 16 points for El Camino Real (4-1).
