Quarterback Jim Kelly of the Buffalo Bills...

Quarterback Jim Kelly of the Buffalo Bills was sued for $1 million by a woman who claims he assaulted her and stole $200 in a bar a year ago.

Eugenia Lyons claims that she suffered neck injuries when Kelly threw her to the floor Dec. 20, 1987, at La Boom Club. In her lawsuit, she also claims Kelly manhandled her after she criticized, in front of other bar patrons, his recent play.

Kelly denies the charges, saying the woman doused him with a drink for no reason.
