Klingsberg Receives Top Freeway Honor
Jason Klingsberg, who led Sunny Hills High School into the Southern Section 4-A water polo final, was named the Freeway League’s water polo player of the year by a vote of the league’s coaches.
The Lancers, who were ranked No. 1 in the 4-A division most of the season, had five players on the first team. Sunny Hills lost to Corona del Mar, 10-7, in the championship match.
