Local News in Brief : Santa’s Helpers to Keep Shoppers’ Children Busy

The second annual “Old-Fashioned Christmas in Irvine,” designed to entertain children and enable their parents to finish holiday shopping, will be sponsored by the city from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Woodbridge Village Center at the corner of Barranca Parkway and Lake Road in Irvine.
Children ages 3 to 12 and parents are invited to attend. Admission is free.
Santa’s helpers will assist children in a variety of holiday craft-making projects.
Refreshments and a visit from Santa also will be provided.
