New York’s Museum of Broadcasting is honoring Walter Cronkite, the veteran former “CBS Evening News” anchor, with a gala black-tie tribute and dinner at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel tonight. Cronkite, with CBS for 32 of his 72 years, last month re-signed with the company for another 10 years.
