The federal probe of Denver-based Blinder, Robinson & Co.’s records continued as government spokesmen declined comment on what the investigation was seeking. However, Steven B. Theyes, senior vice president of the penny-stock brokerage firm, said the search warrant was directed at records of 53 investors, “none of whom are present or former officers, directors, stockbrokers or agents of Blinder Robinson” and 16 publicly traded issues “none of which were underwritten by Blinder Robinson.”
