Three County Community Colleges Get Bowl Bids

The Fullerton, Rancho Santiago and Saddleback college football teams all accepted bowl bids Sunday.
Fullerton, the top-ranked team in the state and second-ranked in the national J.C. Grid-Wire poll, accepted a bid to play in the Potato Bowl Dec. 3 in Bakersfield.
The Hornets (10-0) will play Bakersfield (10-0), the second-ranked team in the state and third in the nation.
Rancho Santiago, despite losing its last 3 games, will play in the PONY Bowl doubleheader Dec. 3 at Orange Coast College.
Rancho Santiago (6-3-1) will play Moorpark (9-1) in the 1 p.m. game. Saddleback (8-2) will play El Camino (8-1-1) at 7.
