Producer David L. Wolper, recuperating from a mild heart attack suffered on a golf course, had to miss the International Documentary Assn. luncheon Friday at which he received the organization’s annual career achievement award. Accepting for him, his friend Grant Tinker joked that the much-honored Wolper could not attend because he was at another luncheon at which he was receiving an award.
