Oil Drilling in the Palisades

Thank you very much to the citizens of Los Angeles from the people of Santa Monica for your votes in opposition to Occidental Petroleum Corp.’s oil drilling project on Pacific Coast Highway. Our city has always opposed this project for environmental reasons.
Every summer we welcome our neighbors from Los Angeles to our 3 1/2 miles of beach just south of the project site. We will continue to provide clean, wide sandy beaches knowing that our Los Angeles neighbors value them as much as we do.
Thank you for saying no to oil in Pacific Palisades.
