A 3-year-old Arab boy was shot and killed and two youths were wounded when an Israeli patrol opened fire on stone-throwing Palestinians in Gaza City. Osama Mohammed abu Ganima was killed when he was struck in the chest by a bullet after Israeli troops being pelted with rocks responded with gunfire, hospital officials said. At least 11 other Arabs were reported wounded in clashes in the Gaza Strip and West Bank as Palestinians marked the start of the 12th month of their uprising against Israeli occupation, blocking roads with burning tires, unfurling illegal Palestinian flags and shutting businesses with a general strike.
