Sharry Gartland had 17 kills and 9 blocks as Pierce College upset first-place Santa Barbara, 8-15, 15-12, 15-11, 16-14, Friday in a Western State Conference women’s volleyball match.
Pierce improved to 10-4 in conference play; Santa Barbara fell to 12-2.
