Flames raced through a mobile home, killing two young children in the small desert community of Sky Valley, officials said. The brother and sister, about 2 or 3 years old, were found dead inside the mobile home at 70875 Dillon Road about 10 miles east of Desert Hot Springs and about 115 miles east of Los Angeles, Riverside County sheriff’s officials said. Two other youngsters, 7 and 14, escaped without injury. Sheriff’s Lt. Ron Dye said the blaze was not considered suspicious and further investigation of the cause was turned over to fire officials.
